Komachi Akimoto is a fifteen-year-old third-year student at L'École des Cinq Lumières middle school who serves on the library committee and volunteers there alongside her best friend Karen Minazuki. Her family runs a traditional Japanese sweetshop. She has dark green hair often worn in a low ponytail with a light pink headband and turquoise eyes. Komachi’s alter ego is Cure Mint, known as the Precure of Tranquility.
Komachi is kind, gentle, and feminine, with a calm and peaceful nature. She is often lost in daydreams, searching for inspiration for her future as a novelist, and can be shy and polite. However, when she is angered enough, she can snap and release her temper in a formidable manner.
