Komachi Akimoto is a third-year student at L'École des Cinq Lumières who transforms into Cure Mint, the Precure of Tranquility. She comes from a family that runs a traditional Japanese sweetshop, and she has an older sister. Komachi is kind, gentle, and reserved by nature, often found in the school library where she volunteers and spends much of her free time reading and writing. Her dream is to become a novelist, a goal she pursues with dedication, and her writing talent is recognized by those close to her. Despite her calm and shy demeanor, she has a strong inner resolve and can become fiercely fierce when protecting friends or standing up for what she believes is right. She is best friends with Karen Minazuki, with whom she shares a deep and supportive bond, and she develops romantic feelings for Nuts, a fairy from another world. As Cure Mint, her abilities center on defense and protection, using techniques like Mint Protection and Mint Shield to create barriers that guard her teammates from harm. Her stability and courage make her a reliable member of her team. In Precure All-Stars DX3 Mirai ni Todoke! Sekai o Tsunagu Niji-Iro no Hana, Komachi joins all the active Precure teams to battle a new enemy. During the film, she is separated from her allies and stranded in a dangerous environment, including a wrecked ship at sea, where she must rely on her wits and determination to reunite with the others. Her participation shows her growth as a Precure and her unwavering commitment to protecting the world alongside her fellow warriors.
