Love Momozono is a second-year student at Public Yotsuba Junior High School. She has round dark pink eyes and short, wavy dirty blonde hair worn in neck-length pigtails secured with magenta scrunchies. Her usual attire includes a pale pink long-sleeved shirt, a pink vest, light denim shorts, a dark brown belt, salmon red sneakers, and baggy mauve socks. For dance practice, she wears a bright pink sweatsuit with white stripes. She transforms into Cure Peach, leader of the Fresh Pretty Cure team. In this form, her hair grows longer and turns light blonde, styled in pigtails with hot pink heart-shaped ornaments. She gains pink heart-shaped earrings and a dark pink choker. Her Cure outfit is a pale pink ruffled mini-dress with a dark pink chest piece, puffy short sleeves, and a hot pink tutu layer. She wears dark maroon knee-length socks and pink boots with dark pink accents. A Linkrun device hangs from a thin strap at her waist. In the movie *Omocha no Kuni wa Himitsu ga Ippai!?*, she attains an additional form called Cure Angel. This form gives her even longer hair and an outfit that is mostly white with larger, flowy sleeves, angel wings, and longer ribbons. A later form, Cure Rainbow Peach, resembles Cure Angel but features small gold wings. Love is energetic, cheery, and highly empathetic, passionately dedicated to helping others find happiness, often at the expense of her own needs. She remains optimistic even in difficult situations but can also be temperamental and childish, especially over minor issues like her dislike of carrots. She is clumsy and impulsive, dislikes sports and studying, and loves dancing. She is a devoted fan of the dance group Trinity. She shares a close bond with her mother, Ayumi, though they sometimes argue, often about carrots. She was deeply attached to her late grandfather, Genkichi, and his passing affected her profoundly. The fairy Tarte lives with her family disguised as a ferret; she sees him as family but often shows impatience, particularly over food. A significant relationship is with Higashi Setsuna, who was originally the villain Eas. Love’s sincere friendship made Setsuna question her loyalty to Labyrinth. Though devastated by Setsuna’s betrayal, Love never gave up on her. After Setsuna was reborn as Cure Passion, she moved into the Momozono home, and the two formed a sisterly bond. Love is childhood friends with Aono Miki and Yamabuki Inori, admiring Miki’s maturity and grace and regarding Inori as intelligent and reliable. She greatly admires Chinen Miyuki, leader of Trinity, who later becomes her dance coach; Love values Miyuki’s opinions highly. Chinen Daisuke, Miyuki’s younger brother and a childhood friend, has a crush on Love, though she remains unaware for most of the series. They often bicker but care deeply for one another. Her journey as a Pretty Cure started when a Nakewameke monster attacked a Trinity concert. While protecting Miyuki, her strong emotions activated the Pirun, turning her cellphone into a Linkrun and enabling her transformation into Cure Peach. After defeating the monster, she met Eas, who declared them enemies. A key moment in her growth was a quarrel with her mother over missing hamburgers that led to her mother’s temporary disappearance. This incident, caused by Labyrinth, made Love realize the depth of her feelings, and she reconciled with her mother after the crisis ended. Another pivotal event involved a Nakewameke born from an old camera that trapped her in memories of her grandfather. With help from the other Cures, she learned to accept that nothing lasts forever but loved ones remain in one’s heart, strengthening her resolve. In the movie *Omocha no Kuni wa Himitsu ga Ippai!?*, during a slumber party, Love’s old stuffed rabbit, Usapyon, came to life and explained that a being named Toymajin was stealing toys from the human world. Usapyon sought the Pretty Cures’ help to stop him in the Land of Toys. There, the Cures were tricked by Count Roulette, Toymajin’s henchman, into a board game that sent each Cure to a separate challenge. Cure Peach faced a karate figurine, defeating it by focusing on the sound of its movements and delivering a precise counterattack. Love felt intense guilt upon learning Toymajin was a manifestation of abandoned toys, as she had forgotten Usapyon in her closet. When Toymajin absorbed Usapyon, the Cures’ attacks proved ineffective. Love tried to reason with Toymajin, understanding his pain but rejecting his methods. She convinced children everywhere to open their hearts to lost toys, which granted her the power to become Cure Angel. Using the Lovely True Heart attack, she purified Toymajin, freeing all the toys, including Usapyon. The real Toymajin, a small teddy bear, was later given to a child who loved him. In battle, her primary attack is Love Sunshine, forming a heart with her fingers that releases a pink energy blast to purify enemies. With the Peach Rod, she performs Love Sunshine Fresh, tracing a heart with the rod to launch a larger heart-shaped energy blast. As Cure Angel, her attack is Lovely True Heart. A recurring theme is her journey to understand love more deeply. Although surrounded by love from others, she initially lacked a profound understanding of how to actively love and sacrifice for others. Her experiences as a Pretty Cure, especially her relationships with Setsuna and her grandfather, taught her the meaning of love and gave her purpose: to spread love and happiness, fulfilling her grandfather’s wish.
