Description
Love Momozono, also known as Cure Peach, is the central protagonist of Fresh Precure! and the leader of the Fresh Precure team. She is a fourteen-year-old second-year student at Public Yotsuba Junior High School. She later shares the same class as Setsuna Higashi. Her name was given by her grandfather with the hope that she would grow into a person who achieves great things through affection. The name Love was chosen instead of the Japanese word Ai because it was thought to be usable in a wider world.
Love is an energetic, cheerful, and highly empathetic girl who is deeply passionate about bringing happiness to others. She is hyperactive and emotional, often putting the needs of others ahead of her own, sometimes to her own detriment. Because her feelings are so strong, she can experience more pain or sorrow than others would in the same situation, but she consistently maintains an upbeat and positive outlook to overcome it. She can be temperamental and a little selfish over trivial matters, such as foods she dislikes. She has a habit of trying her hand at matchmaking, though her efforts frequently fail. She is aided by the fairies Tarte and Chiffon from the Sweets Kingdom.
