Description
Love Momozono is a 14-year-old student at Public Yotsuba Junior High School, living with her parents. Her mother works at a grocery store, while her father is a wig maker who collaborates with Tadashi Yamabuki, father of her friend Inori. Her grandfather, Genkichi Momozono, passed away when she was young, causing her distress over fragmented memories of him.

She possesses dark pink eyes and short, dirty honey-blonde hair styled in upward wavy pigtails secured by pink scrunchies. Her casual attire typically features a pearl pink long-sleeved shirt under a pastel pink vest, denim shorts, a brown belt, and pink-and-white sneakers with mauve socks. For dance practice, she wears bright pink sweatsuits with white accents.

Love exhibits hyperactivity, empathy, and emotional volatility. She passionately advocates for others' happiness, often attempting matchmaking despite frequent failures. This deep empathy sometimes leads to exaggerated expressions of sorrow or pain. She displays occasional selfishness, particularly concerning food, and harbors a strong dislike for carrots, studying, and sports. Conversely, she adores dancing and idolizes the group "Trinity," later forming the dance unit "Clover" with childhood friends Miki Aono and Inori Yamabuki. Despite her enthusiasm for dance, she remains clumsy.

Her transformation into Cure Peach occurs during a Nakewameke attack at a Trinity concert. Protecting Trinity's leader Miyuki Chinen, Love’s determination activates the fairy Pirun, who merges with her cellphone to create the Linkrun transformation device. As Cure Peach, her hair elongates to thigh-length and turns light blonde, adorned with heart-shaped scrunchies. Her outfit is a pink mini-dress with ruffled layers, hot pink boots, and a four-leaf clover ornament on her chest. Her signature catchphrase is "Get your happiness!" and her primary attack is "Love Sunshine," a heart-shaped energy beam.

A pivotal relationship is with Setsuna Higashi, initially encountered as a fortune teller predicting Love’s "great happiness." Setsuna is later revealed as Eas, an antagonist from Labyrinth sent to sabotage the Pretty Cures. Despite betrayal, Love persistently believes in Setsuna’s goodness, culminating in a climactic battle where Cure Peach hugs Eas to dispel dark energy controlling her. This act facilitates Setsuna’s rebirth as Cure Passion. Setsuna subsequently moves into the Momozono household, attends Love’s school, joins Clover, and develops a sisterly bond with Love. Their interactions include exchanging gifts like clover necklaces, sharing meals, and collaborative dance rehearsals.

Other significant relationships include Miyuki Chinen, Trinity’s leader who becomes Love’s dance mentor; Daisuke Chinen, Miyuki’s brother and Love’s childhood friend who harbors an unrequited crush she overlooks; and Tarte, a fairy residing with her family disguised as a ferret. Though Love views Tarte as family, she displays impatience with him, especially over food. Her mother, Ayumi, shares a close but occasionally contentious relationship with Love, notably during conflicts about carrots or household responsibilities.

Across her journey, Love demonstrates substantial growth. Initially impulsive and driven by raw emotion, she evolves into a strategic leader. After Setsuna’s betrayal, she channels her devastation into resolve, confronting Setsuna to "settle their beef" through combat. Later, during a mission in Labyrinth, she defies warnings to aid residents, inspiring them to support the Cures. Her abilities expand: she acquires the "Peach Rod," enhancing her "Love Sunshine" attack, and in the movie, gains "Cure Angel" form with white wings via Miracle Lights. This form features elongated hair ribbons and an angelic white-and-pink ensemble. She also temporarily assumes "Cure Rainbow Peach" in All Stars media, resembling Cure Angel with gold wings.

Her fighting style emphasizes punching, though she incorporates kicks when necessary. The movie showcases advanced techniques like a "Megaton One-Inch Punch." As Cure Angel, her powers extend to creating food for the fairy Chiffon.

Distinctive traits include using "atashi" as her first-person pronoun and a hand gesture resembling "I love you" in sign language. Her name "Momozono" translates to "peach garden."
