Movie
Description
Masako is a citizen of Rōran, an ancient desert city. Her husband was forcibly taken, along with many other Rōran men, by the rogue shinobi Mukade (Anrokuzan) to labor in assembling a puppet army. This event profoundly shapes her actions. Motivated by the desperate desire to secure her husband's release and the freedom of the other abducted men, Masako takes part in the kidnapping of Sāra, Rōran's young queen. She directly confronts Naruto Uzumaki and Sāra, explaining the citizens' plight and revealing that the apparent public adoration for Sāra was an illusion created by puppets, hiding the population's suffering under Mukade/Anrokuzan's forced conscription.
Following Sāra's decision to intervene and free the enslaved laborers, Masako is reunited with her husband. Subsequently, both Masako and her husband join the citizen Sarai in supporting Sāra's efforts to activate a gateway mechanism intended to facilitate an escape to safety as events escalate.
Masako has medium-length brown hair framing her face with two strands down each side, brown eyes, and wears a blue headband. Her attire consists of a navy blue poncho over a dark-green top, a long maroon skirt, sandals, and white bandages wrapped around her waist. She exhibits no depicted combat abilities or formal ninja training; her characterization centers on her deep familial devotion and willingness to take direct action against perceived injustice to protect her loved ones. This character exists solely within the context of the movie *Naruto Shippūden: The Lost Tower*. She does not appear or receive mention in the *Naruto* manga, other anime seasons, films, OVAs, or spin-off media.
