Description
A young man awakens with erased memories, seized by a shadowy syndicate following his witnessing of an assassination. Forged into a weapon through relentless conditioning and memory suppression, he inherits the codename “Zwei,” succeeding a predecessor erased from the organization’s records. Under the tutelage of the enigmatic operative “Ein,” he masters firearms, close combat, and strategic warfare, his former self buried beneath layers of indoctrination.

Bound by duty yet tormented by suppressed autonomy, he navigates a fraught alliance with Ein, their partnership oscillating between calculated efficiency and unspoken tension. Splinters of his forgotten past surface unpredictably—fleeting visions of a stolen life—but never coalesce into clarity. As the morality of the organization’s missions grows suspect, his detached professionalism fractures, replaced by simmering defiance.

The rupture comes when he and Ein orchestrate a desperate escape, severing ties with their handlers. Hunted by former allies, their rebellion unravels, culminating in capture and brutal reconditioning. His psyche is forcibly reshaped, memories altered to reinstate obedience, reducing him once more to a pliable instrument.

Years later, he ascends to the codename “Ein” following his mentor’s disappearance, mentoring a new “Zwei” with the same clinical precision he once endured. Mirroring his own fractured history, this dynamic repeats—guidance laced with detachment, loyalty shadowed by doubt. His relentless pursuit of self-determination culminates in a climactic clash against the organization, yet victory remains hollow. The cycle persists: identities discarded and reassigned, autonomy chained to hierarchy, his existence a testament to the inescapable scars of manipulation and the machinery of control that grinds individuality to dust.
