Kanon Tōdō debuts as a Prism Star at age 14, positioned initially as a rival to Rizumu Amamiya within the Aurora Dream narrative. Born in Kyoto, Japan, she resides there with her family, notably her older brother Hibiki Tōdō, toward whom she displays intense possessiveness. Her initial appearance features brown hair and light brown eyes, typically clad in green casual wear. Her Prism Show outfits, however, coordinate with partner Serena Jounouchi, showcasing feminine and relaxed styles. Forming the duet Serenon with Serena Jounouchi, which later expands to the trio Serenon with K, Kanon excels in performances defined by synchronized fashion and precision, setting their team apart. She executes signature jumps like "Lovely Rainbow" and "Smile-Smile Heart Dive" during shows. Publicly, Kanon projects a graceful and kind image, contrasting Serena's bluntness. Yet, she reacts fiercely to anyone approaching Hibiki, viewing Rizumu as a romantic rival. This rivalry softens over time; after Hibiki and Rizumu marry, Kanon accepts their relationship and addresses Rizumu as "Onee-sama". Beyond Prism Shows, Kanon and Serena develop a manzai comedy act. Kanon serves as the "tsukkomi" (straight man) to Serena's "boke" (comic foil), demonstrating her comedic skill and fluency in Kansai dialect. By Dear My Future, aged 17, her appearance matures with slightly shorter, wavier hair worn behind her shoulders, though she retains her graceful movements. Following Symphonia Company's dissolution, Serenon joins PRETTY TOP under Kyoko Asechi, continuing both Prism Shows and manzai performances, frequently appearing in traditional comedy attire. Kanon's character development involves managing her protectiveness toward Hibiki, culminating in blessing his marriage to Rizumu. She also transitions from suppressing emotions to expressing them more openly, particularly through comedic exchanges with Serena. A vision of the future depicts her and Serena achieving renown as a manzai duo, signifying their sustained partnership beyond competitive Prism Shows.
