Description
Konoha Inoue, a second-year high school student craving peaceful days, saw his life transformed after winning a prestigious middle school writing contest. His novel "Sora ni Niteiru" (Looks Alike to the Sky), published under the feminine pen name "Miu Inoue," became a bestseller adapted into film and manga. The intense pressure caused severe stress, leading Konoha to withdraw socially and swear off writing permanently. This trauma deepened when Miu Asakura, a girl he loved, attempted suicide by jumping off a roof in front of him, though she survived.

Entering high school seeking normalcy, Konoha encountered Tohko Amano, who consumed literature by physically eating pages. After witnessing this, he was forcibly recruited into the Literature Club, where Tohko demanded daily written "snacks." Konoha presented a gentle, friendly facade to others but revealed his true self—deadpan, blunt, and disinterested—only to Tohko.

Over time, Konoha's bond with Tohko deepened despite romantic complications. He briefly dated Nanase Kotobuki but ultimately chose Tohko, ending the relationship. Reuniting with Miu Asakura forced him to confront her true nature and their shared past. Inspired by Tohko's methods, he developed deductive reasoning skills to resolve conflicts involving others.

After Tohko graduated, Konoha became Literature Club president. He published a second novel under "Miu Inoue" titled "Bungaku Shoujo" (Literature Girl), a confession of love for Tohko, rejecting all adaptation requests. In the spin-off *Minarai* series from another character's perspective, Konoha appeared more mature yet grappled with guilt over unintentionally hurting others. This was particularly acute when new club member Nano Hinosaka developed romantic feelings for him, as Konoha recognized Tohko-like qualities in her, complicating his emotions.
