Movie
Description
Eishiro Sugata is a human high school student and president of the New World Discovery Club. He resides in a tent near a river, consistently wearing his school uniform due to possessing no other clothing. Sugata maintains a calm, analytical personality marked by a nearly constant neutral expression and a methodical approach to research.

A significant family tragedy shapes his background. Sugata deeply admired his older brother, who was passionate about flight and gliders, and often assisted him. After an argument before a test flight, Sugata performed a substandard inspection of the glider. It malfunctioned during flight, causing his brother's fatal fall. This incident resulted in Sugata being disowned by his family; his younger brother Yuugo became the family heir. Sugata's pursuit of discovering the "New World" and establishing the New World Discovery Club serves as personal atonement for his perceived responsibility in his brother's death.

Sugata possesses considerable intellectual capabilities. He researches Angeloids, Synapse, and the mysterious "New World" phenomenon above Sorami City, frequently providing explanatory monologues at the beginning of episodes that foreshadow events. His combat proficiency equals Mikako Satsukitane, whose household servants refer to him as "young master," indicating a familial association. Sugata collaborates with the Angeloid Daedalus during visits to Synapse, and his intellect impresses the Master of Synapse.

In *Heaven’s Lost Property Final – The Movie: Eternally My Master*, Sugata investigates dimensional connections between their world and Synapse alongside Mikako. This follows Hiyori Kazane's return, leading Sugata to conclude the world continuum is intrinsically linked to Synapse. He participates in questioning Ikaros about Synapse's existence, though she resists disclosure. His scientific approach continues as he analyzes Hiyori's reappearance and its connection to Tomoki Sakurai's unique existence.

Sugata's familial connection resurfaces in the spin-off *Yūryō Bukken Mō Dame Sō: Furo, Toilet to Tenshi wa Kyōdō Desu*. His younger brother Yuugo encounters an Angeloid resembling a deceased childhood friend. Sugata contacts Yuugo by phone to discuss his perspective on the "New World" (referencing Synapse), revealing prior knowledge of Synapse's secrets and the Angeloid Hamuel's true nature.
