Description
Eishirō Sugata is a tall, bespectacled figure with striking white hair and blue-green eyes, perpetually clad in a school uniform due to owning no other clothes. As president of the New World Discovery Club, his calm, neutral demeanor masks an eccentric intellect consumed by scientific curiosity and an obsession with the "New World"—a phenomenon tied to Synapse, a celestial dimension. He meticulously studies Angeloids, interdimensional beings, and Synapse’s architecture, weaving historical parallels to explorers like Magellan and Columbus into his theories.

Sugata’s past is shadowed by loss. He once idolized his older brother, bonding over their shared passion for gliders and flight. A petty argument led Sugata to overlook a fatal flaw in a glider’s wing during a test flight, causing his brother’s death. Disowned by his family, he was replaced as heir by his younger brother, Yuugo. Tormented by guilt, Sugata channeled his remorse into a quest for the New World, founding his club as both a sanctuary and a means of redemption.

His combat prowess rivals Mikako Satsukitane, a childhood friend entangled in a complex dynamic with him, marked by her family’s servants referring to him as "young master." Collaborating with the Angeloid Daedalus, he probes Synapse’s enigmas, decoding its ties to Earth in the *Eternally My Master* film. His conclusions reveal the world’s existential reliance on Synapse. He interrogates Angeloids such as Ikaros and Hiyori Kazane, though Hiyori’s accidental death erases his memories of her.

Key events showcase his daring: reprogramming Synapse’s Rule Obelisk to unlock an extra wish leads to his apparent demise during a clash with Ikaros Melan. Tomoki Sakurai’s wish later revives him. Spin-offs like *Daisuki Desu!! Mahou Tenshi Cosmos* depict his role in resolving dimensional crises, while *Yūryō Bukken Mō Dame Sō* exposes his familial link to Yuugo and their shared Synapse heritage.

Sugata’s evolution balances intellectual tenacity with growing collaboration, shifting from solitary fixation to alliances with Tomoki and Angeloids. Beneath his stoicism lies a relentless drive for redemption and comprehension of the unseen forces dictating his world’s fate.
