Toge Inumaki, a human male born October 23, 2001, belongs to the Inumaki clan, inheritors of the Cursed Speech technique. This hereditary ability channels cursed energy through spoken words, compelling obedience from listeners. To prevent accidental activations, Toge communicates using coded rice ball ingredients: "salmon" for agreement, "fish flakes" for refusal, and "kelp" as a greeting.
Slender and fair-skinned, Toge has platinum blonde hair, violet eyes, and conceals his clan’s "Snake and Fangs" facial markings beneath high-collared uniforms. Training attire includes a dark zipped shirt under a white short-sleeved top, paired with athletic pants and shoes. Following the Shibuya Incident, he lost his left arm to Sukuna’s assault.
Enrolling at Tokyo Jujutsu High in 2017 as a second-year alongside Maki Zenin and Panda, Toge rose to Grade 2 sorcerer that year and Semi-Grade 1 by 2018.
In the Cursed Child Arc, he met transfer student Yuta Okkotsu, initially wary of Yuta’s volatile cursed energy. The two later partnered to purge cursed spirits from a shopping district, where Toge’s command of "explode" obliterated targets. Their shared struggles with dangerous techniques fostered mutual trust.
At the Kyoto Goodwill Event, Toge battled the special-grade Hanami, leveraging Cursed Speech to paralyze the spirit and aid allies despite the technique’s exhausting backlash.
During the Shibuya Incident, Toge spearheaded civilian evacuations and transfigured human exterminations, securing Dogenzaka district before sustaining his life-altering injury. He persisted in combat despite the loss of his arm.
In the Shinjuku Showdown, he collaborated with peers to strategize Satoru Gojo’s release from the Prison Realm, later aiding counteroffensives against curses post-liberation.
Toge’s tactical intellect, bravery, and loyalty define his identity. His guarded speech, protective nature, and unyielding dedication to allies solidify his standing as a pivotal figure within Tokyo Jujutsu High.
