Description
Yoko is a powerful spiritual being initially presented as an inukami but later revealed as a kitsune, clarifying her innate fear of normal dogs as natural fox enemies. She stands 162 cm tall with measurements of 86 cm bust, 58 cm waist, and 84 cm hip, maintaining a human form distinguished by a prominent large tail.

Her personality blends mischievousness, jealousy, and unwavering loyalty. She frequently tricks her contractor, Keita Kawahira, driven by a childhood-forged romantic crush stemming from when he aided her while injured and offered chocolate cake—now her favorite food. When Keita flirts with others, her jealousy erupts in comedic punishments like teleporting him naked into public or striking him with her self-proclaimed "frying pan of love." Despite playful cruelty, she shows wisdom by avoiding reckless fights against stronger foes like Nadeshiko and courage in confronting enemies.

Yoko wields two core abilities: "Jaen" conjures fireballs from her fingertips, while "Dai-Jaen" amplifies this into spirit-incinerating blasts. Her "Shukuchi" teleports objects or people, often retrieving items or disciplining Keita. She demonstrates exceptional power by effortlessly defeating multiple inukami from Kaoru's pack unharmed.

A hidden past reveals she sabotaged Keita's prior attempts to contract other inukami, ensuring she alone became his partner. Guilt over this deception culminates in a confession where she admits her actions and love. Keita accepts her, affirming his choice was for her essence, not species. Her heritage deepens when uncovered as daughter of the legendary Dai Yoko, enriching her identity.

Evolving from self-centered trickster to protective partner, Yoko engages in pivotal battles: defeating a shinigami to save a family heir, confronting antagonists like Sekidousai, and fighting the emotion-devouring Jasei. Her bond with Keita strengthens, marked by moments like a mid-air kiss during the Jasei clash, symbolizing mutual acceptance. Manga additions highlight childlike mischief and hints of her being a nine-tailed kitsune.
