Description
Perucerte Yugiri, sometimes romanized as Perserte Yugiri, is a supporting character in the anime Polyphonica and its sequel series Polyphonica Crimson S. She is a young woman with long blonde hair and pink eyes, and she is the older twin sister of Prinesca Yugiri.
She comes from a family with a notable history in divine music. Her father, Partessio Yugiri, was a respected Divine Song Player, or Dantist, who took part in the First Sighing Stranger Rebellion, and it was her admiration for him that led her to pursue the same calling. While touring Torvas Divine Song Players Academy, she met Phoron Tatara, the protagonist, and personally chose him to be her instructor, an encounter that sets the direction of her story. She studies at the academy and later has ties to the Tsuge Divine Song Players Dispatch Office, where Phoron and the central cast work; her apparent reason for involving herself there is to be close to him.
In personality, Perucerte is lively, outgoing, and something of a mood-maker, bringing energy and cheer to the people around her.
