Description
Corticarte Apa Lagranges, known as Corti, is the ancient Red Elder Spirit, bearing titles like Crimson Annihilator and Bloody Duchess. She manifests six wings in her standard form, expanding to eight wings as the Crimson Queen in heightened states. Her appearance shifts between a petite girl and a full-figured adult woman standing 170-178 cm tall, with measurements of 95-55-89 cm. Both forms feature striking red hair, crimson eyes, pale skin, and wings. The adult form emerges exclusively when her contractor performs a Divine Song, unlocking significantly greater power.

Her past is marked by service under the Dantist Kaoru Kuchiba within the Fremden der Trauer ("Strangers of Sorrow"). During this era, she wreaked widespread destruction, earning the epithets Crimson Annihilator and Bloody Duchess. This violent chapter concluded with her imprisonment within the basement of Torvas Divine Song Academy. Freedom came unexpectedly when the young Phoron Tatara, unknowingly singing a Divine Song, shattered her confinement. Captivated by his voice, she bound him with an exclusive contract to secure his loyalty.

Corticarte exhibits a tsundere personality, fiercely possessive of Phoron and prone to jealousy when others approach him. While her childlike form is volatile and emotional, her adult form reveals maturity, restraint, and strategic thinking. Under Phoron's influence, she evolved from a force of destruction into a protective guardian. She now avoids lethal force unless absolutely necessary to defend allies, adhering to his values.

As a spirit, her abilities focus on music-based magic and combat. She flies, fights, and transforms ("Henshin"), wielding instruments like organs or violins as crimson conduits for her power. Her ultimate ability, Symphony of Destruction: Crimson Aria, channels devastating energy through musical performance. Class Skills encompass Territory Creation and Item Construction. Personal Skills include Spirit of Music, Flame Manipulation, Divine Song proficiency, and Spirit Healing. Phoron's Divine Songs dramatically amplify her combat prowess, enabling feats like energy projection and elemental control.

Key relationships define her narrative. She shares a deep, often contentious bond with Phoron, viewing him as exclusively hers. Historical tensions linger with spirits like Managariastinockle (Black Series), whom she once knew but fails to recognize in their altered forms. A notable alliance exists with Eliphas Blanca (White Series), underscoring connections across spirit series.
