Aldra is a half-demon born to the Pope and a being from the Netherworld. She endured a childhood of persecution alongside her younger sister until they were separated while searching for food. Driven by loss, she forged a pact with the demon Delmore, gaining a petrifying gaze and hidden blades in exchange for an eternal bond that halted her physical growth, trapping her in a childlike form. At the age of twelve, she became the continent’s youngest queen after winning two consecutive Queen’s Blade tournaments. Ruling from Gainos with icy detachment, she obsessively searched for her missing sister, while her court sorcerers, fearing her wrath, fed her fabricated letters to sustain her hope. Her reign was marked by military crackdowns and an arena filled with the petrified remains of her foes. Defeated by Leina in a later tournament, Aldra lost Delmore, which triggered a transformation into her true adult physique and erased her memories. Adrift and amnesiac, she was rescued by a man she married, adopting a cheerful and protective persona. To shield him during a subsequent war, she bound herself to the Netherworld entities Belphe and Dogor, who secretly plotted to devour her. In a later incarnation, Aldra gained wings, a tail, and a crown, with Delmore reborn as a female companion; her eyes shifted from crimson to emerald as her demonic power was unleashed. Her long-lost sister is Annelotte Kreutz, and her unresolved quest to find her remained a driving force throughout her life.
