Description
Tabitha, born Charlotte Hélène Orléans de Gallia, is the daughter of Charles, Duke de Orléans, and niece of King Joseph de Gallia. After her father’s death during a civil war for the Gallian throne, Joseph seized power and forced her into lethal missions to orchestrate her demise. Her mother, driven mad by a Potion of Lost Heart meant for Charlotte, replaced her with a doll named Tabitha, compelling the girl to adopt the doll’s identity to survive. The ordeal extinguished her childhood vivacity, leaving her withdrawn, academically inclined, and emotionally guarded.

A skilled mage, Tabitha masters wind and water magic, later achieving square-class proficiency in ice magic. Her staff serves both as a weapon and an emblem of Gallia’s heraldry. Her companion, Sylphid—a blue wind rhyme dragon—assists her in missions and occasionally adopts a human guise as Illococoo. Though Joseph exploits her talents for perilous tasks like hunting monsters and securing rare artifacts, she remains a low-ranking chevalier despite her prowess.

Coerced into aiding Joseph’s agent Sheffield, Tabitha reluctantly betrays allies such as Saito and Louise, resulting in her demotion and imprisonment. Her resolve fractures when Joseph tries to poison her with the sanity-destroying potion that crippled her mother. Rescued by Saito’s intervention, she allies with him to thwart Sheffield’s golem by reigniting Louise’s void magic through a calculated kiss.

A restorative potion heals her mother’s mind, and Tabitha is named Gallia’s rightful heir. She delays her coronation to remain with Saito and Louise, nurturing newfound bonds. Her claim faces turmoil when her twin sister Josette surfaces—spared at birth despite Gallian traditions demanding twin executions—and is manipulated by Romalia to usurp the throne. Tabitha relinquishes her crown to protect Josette’s independence.

Her bond with Saito shifts from pragmatic alliance to quiet affection, revealed through fleeting blushes and pledges to shield him. Though outwardly stoic, she displays tactical brilliance in conflicts against foes like Bidalsha and during Halkeginia’s windstone crisis. Her story closes with her residing in Saito’s home, navigating lingering duties to Gallia while cherishing hard-won camaraderie.
