Description
Saitohimea, the sole survivor of a race called Vampires (designated "Most Ancient Sorcerers"), endured profound loneliness as others constantly sought to exploit her immense magical power. This isolation ended only when a young boy, Taito Kurogane, discovered her crying on a park swing and offered kindness without wanting her power. She formed a deep bond with him. To ensure their eternal connection, she performed the "Nine Hundred Second Spell": biting Taito, confessing her love, and receiving his confession. This curse granted Taito conditional immortality, allowing six resurrections within any fifteen-minute period, each death marked by a changing purple symbol on his palm. It also healed his injuries, including a career-ending leg wound, and repaired his clothing.

Shortly after, they were attacked by Kurenai Hinata, who demanded Saitohimea help revive the entity Bahlskra. When she refused, Hinata overpowered her magically. Taito intervened to protect her, prompting Hinata to kill him six times consecutively to test his immortality's limits. To prevent Taito's final, permanent death, Saitohimea surrendered. Hinata erased Taito's memories of her, despite his vow never to forget, and took Saitohimea captive. She was then delivered to the secretive Church organization, which subjected her to torturous experiments that temporarily drove her insane. Once deemed useless, she was imprisoned for nine years within a dimensionless void devoid of light, sound, food, or water, sustained solely by her innate powers. Electrified restraints inflicted constant pain if she moved. She counted the exact seconds of her confinement—approximately 283,824,000—clinging to hope for exactly five more minutes before resigning herself.

Her escape occurred when Taito suffered his first death after being hit by a truck. This death reactivated the curse, restoring his memories and returning her sealed magical power. Sensing this shift, she broke free from her dimensional prison, magically aging herself nine years to match Taito. They reunited at the same park, just before her five-minute deadline expired. She subsequently enrolled at Miyasaka High School under the name Himea Saito, joining Taito on the student council led by Gekkou Kurenai. This role provided sanctuary within the school's protective barriers.

Her personality blends playful mischievousness with intense seriousness, especially concerning Taito's safety. Deep-seated insecurities from her traumatic past manifest as jealousy towards Taito's childhood friend, Haruka Shigure, and anxiety over her physical appearance. Despite inherent kindness, she displays lethal violence against those harming Taito without remorse. Her dependency on Taito is profound; she views him as her sole source of emotional warmth and purpose, struggling with an intense fear of abandonment rooted in her pre-Taito isolation.

Magically, she possesses extensive capabilities, though combat spells require minimum effective distances, necessitating Taito as her close-range protector. Her powers include dimensional travel and portal creation; rapid healing of fatal wounds; sensing magical barriers and their casters; levitation; generating protective or suspended magical spheres; instantaneous clothing changes; projecting intense shockwaves; freezing human movement; summoning magical beasts; and extensive knowledge of interdimensional realms and inhabitants. Her most consequential ability is transferring powerful, self-destructive spells to Taito, leveraging his immortality to safely utilize them. One such sentient spell, "Rapture," capable of global destruction, is theorized to originate from profound loneliness.

Her relationship with Taito defines her existence; she prioritizes his safety above all, willing to sacrifice herself or others. This devotion complicates her interaction with Bahlskra, an alternate male personality she unconsciously created during early loneliness as a companion and protector. Bahlskra resents Taito for "weakening" her and temporarily seized control to attempt killing him. She ultimately suppressed Bahlskra by affirming her love for Taito and rejecting the need for the destructive alter ego. Her connection to the apocalyptic prophecy identifying her as "Ramiel Lilith," the destined destroyer of the world, adds further complexity to her identity and fate.
