Foop is a wind spirit born from the Fountain of Sky. She appears as a light pink-white entity with dark purple eyes, curled outward ears framing a lilac heart, and a blue orb at her tail tip, marked by a pink swirl on her forehead. Her form lacks legs or feet, maintaining a spirit-like appearance.
She emerged alongside Moop in episode 24 after Hyuuga Saki and Mishou Mai restored the Fountain of Sky. Her name comes from the Japanese word "fuu" (風), meaning "wind". Foop exhibits a timid personality and is often fascinated by the Land of Greenery. She frequently wanders off with Moop, inadvertently causing complications.
Her history involves a significant connection to the Kiryuu sisters, Michiru and Kaoru. Searching for survivors after the Fountain of Sky's destruction, Foop and Moop encountered them; a falling tree nearly crushed the spirits until Michiru held it aloft, allowing their escape. This act forged a bond of trust, with Foop showing particular affinity for Kaoru.
Functionally, Foop and Moop provide the power sources for the Cure Bright and Cure Windy upgrades. They channel energy through the Spiral Ring Set to enable the Spiral Heart Splash attack. Foop specifically channels her wind power through Choppy to facilitate Mai's transformation into Cure Windy. Their combined powers also fuel the ultimate group attack, Spiral Star Splash.
After Goyan's defeat and the restoration of the Land of Fountains and Land of Greenery, Foop resides with Mai, Saki, Michiru, Kaoru, and other spirits in the Land of Greenery. She communicates, ending her sentences with the verbal tic "-pupu".
