Description
Originating as a Gilgamesh Confederation pilot raised in a Sunsa research facility under Colonel Yoran Pailsen, Chirico Cuvie was groomed from birth to succeed Wiseman as a godlike figure in the Astragius Galaxy. His background strongly implies artificial human origins or status as an exceptionally long-lived Perfect Soldier, granting extraordinary physiological traits like a rapid healing factor. This enabled recovery from severe injuries like fractured hips within days and survival of events such as space station impacts.

His military service began as a child soldier enlisted at age 16, later transferring to the notorious Red Shoulder Battalion. Brutal training there contributed to his emotional detachment. Chirico exhibits an "abnormal survivor" ability, an uncanny capacity to endure lethal situations. This trait attracted intelligence operatives who assigned him to experimental units like the Barcoff Squad alongside soldiers with similar survival rates. These units faced high-casualty missions, including amphibious assaults where Chirico remained the sole survivor.

During events chronicled in the Pailsen Files, Chirico's resilience was systematically tested through near-suicidal operations. These included a night raid on a Balarant Union fortress in Manid Gorge (resulting in massive Gilgamesh casualties) and an orchestrated accident involving engulfing polymer ringer liquid flames. His survival of such incidents, including a catastrophic explosion creating a mushroom cloud, demonstrated his capacity to unconsciously manipulate environmental factors. Military interrogations of Pailsen later confirmed Chirico's potential to alter reality through this survivability trait.

Despite his stoic and emotionally reserved demeanor, Chirico developed compassion and ethical awareness. Initially prone to violent retaliation against perceived threats, interactions with allies gradually moderated his impulses. His defiance of immoral orders marked significant development, contrasting with earlier compliance. As an Overman—a genetically advanced human—his role culminated in rejecting godhood. He instead destroyed Wiseman, positioning himself as the last of his kind. Following these events, he chose cryogenic suspension alongside Fyana, awaiting a future without conflict.

Throughout his journeys, Chirico became known as "The Untouchable," reflecting operational infallibility. He consistently operated with minimal equipment, notably wearing an orange pilot suit across diverse environments. His combat proficiency in Armored Troopers, particularly Scopedogs, remained exceptional despite frequent unit destruction during missions. After emerging from cryosleep, he adopted a nomadic existence, traversing the galaxy without permanent ties.
