Noriko, an elderly woman with short brown hair and grey eyes, lives in a coastal town's senior center. She typically wears a beige blouse with green polka dots and a blue scarf, relying on a wheelchair due to limited mobility within the facility.
When rising sea levels and a magical tsunami endanger the town, she evacuates with other residents. Fujimoto, a former human wizard, intervenes and persuades Noriko, Yoshie, and Toki to take refuge in an underwater membranous bubble. There, the environment restores her physical freedom, enabling her to walk and run again.
Less abrasive than fellow resident Toki, Noriko's yearning for mobility surfaces in her declaration: "I'd let a fish lick me if it'd get me out of this wheelchair."
