Description
Kobo Tabata is an elementary school student living in a three-generation household with his parents, younger sister, and both grandparents. This family structure shapes the everyday situations driving his narratives. He navigates ordinary family life and interpersonal relationships within this multi-generational setting, experiencing typical childhood interactions and family dynamics. Stories center on commonplace events arising from shared daily routines and cohabitation arrangements.

The household includes pets—a dog named Bochi and a cat named Mii—that contribute to the domestic backdrop. Kobo’s social circle features another child, Hiroko Tanizawa, who wears hair ribbons.

Relatable scenarios emerge from generational differences, habits, and occasional misunderstandings within the family unit. These situations consistently stem from Kobo’s perspective as a child experiencing life alongside his extended family.
