Description
Arios originates as Guardian of Time serving Queen Collet in the Sacred Beast Cosmos, maintaining temporal balance under her guidance as a key figure in cosmic stability.

In "Angelique Tenkuu no Requiem," Arios falls under the corruption of antagonist Leviath Ragna Alviss, transforming into a knight under the emperor's command. Leviath manipulates Arios's despair, isolation, and deep loyalty to Queen Collet to achieve this. Arios participates in Leviath's conquest of the Sacred Bird Cosmos, contributing to the suffering inflicted upon its inhabitants, his actions driven by external control.

Following Leviath's defeat, Arios rejects Angelique's offer of redemption and chooses suicide. His death is not permanent; he undergoes a symbolic rebirth within Angelique's cosmos, manifested as new life possessing heterochromatic eyes—one gold and one green—signifying his connection to both his past identity and renewed existence, representing potential for atonement.

In "Angelique: Shiroi Tsubasa no Memoir," Arios resurfaces physically but is mentally controlled by a dark entity known as Ra Ga. Appearing initially weakened and amnesiac, he adopts his original form before the darkness manipulates him into an assassination plot targeting Queens Angelique and Limoges. Under this influence, his hair turns black, and he becomes a vessel for destructive intent.

His journey involves conflict between his corrupted state and residual nobility. Transported by Angelique and Marcel to restore his memories, he briefly escapes their custody due to Ra Ga's interference. The entity later traps Angelique and Marcel, using Arios to lure Queen Limoges into a confrontation. The collective efforts of Limoges's Guardians disrupt the entity's hold, allowing Angelique to intervene. She embraces him, symbolizing compassion and faith, which awakens his true memories and breaks Ra Ga's control. Regaining his sense of self, he expresses remorse for his actions and swears fealty to Angelique.

Despite this redemption, the dark entity reasserts dominance, forcibly dragging Arios away before he can fully reintegrate. The narrative concludes with him unconscious in a desolate landscape resembling the Sacred Beast Cosmos wilderness, his ultimate fate unresolved but carrying Angelique's belief in his eventual return.

Throughout his arc, Arios embodies themes of corruption, the struggle for redemption, and the enduring impact of compassion. His identity remains tied to his loyalty—first to Queen Collet, then perverted by Leviath, and finally reclaimed through Angelique's faith.
