Description
Gazelleman, also known as Dik-Dik Van-Dik in certain adaptations, is a Tanzanian gazelle-type wrestler. He graduated as the top-ranked student from the Hercules Factory, celebrated for his combat skills and handsome appearance, leading to his assignment defending Tokyo alongside Mantaro Kinniku. Despite this high ranking, he suffered repeated match losses, often showcasing opponent strength, which gradually evolved his role into comedic relief while remaining a consistent presence offering support during critical moments.

His background includes attending a Tanzanian primary school for Justice Chojin seven years prior. During a demanding 100km race, he assisted a struggling classmate, The Fax, by tying their legs together and promising to carry him over a cliff. The bond snapped during the jump attempt, leaving Gazelleman clinging to the cliff as The Fax abandoned him. This incident resurfaced when The Fax kidnapped children and attacked Gazelleman. Despite injuries from The Fax's Paper Shooter attack and facing the Paper Mummy, Gazelleman overcame the odds. He leveraged the power of friendship to tag in Mantaro Kinniku, and their combined efforts, culminating in Gazelleman's Savannah Heat technique, defeated The Fax.

Throughout various arcs, he participated and observed. He witnessed Mantaro's early confrontations, like the fight against Tel-Tel Boy, often providing commentary while wearing promotional merchandise. He suffered notable defeats, including at the hands of Kevin Mask and members of the d.M.p (Demon Manufacturing Plant), sometimes resulting in hospitalizations. His first official wrestling match occurred during the Hercules Factory Second Year Replacement Matches against Jade. Initial popularity sold out the event, but Jade humiliated him for being out of shape. Gazelleman gained a temporary advantage when Jade became distracted by a lost item, but his diminished stamina led to defeat by Jade's "Red Rain of Berlin" technique, inflicting severe injuries.

He participated in the resurrected Chojin Olympics, returning to Tanzania for the preliminary rounds. He became Tanzanian champion by defeating Sky Crow, but lost in the international preliminaries, attributing his defeat to falling for an opponent's "Rock, Paper, Scissors" trick and his inherent curiosity. Following elimination, his main tournament involvement shifted to bystander and comedy, including impersonating announcers alongside Seiuchin during the Destruction vs. Pri-Clun match and later disguising themselves as elderly spectators to support Mantaro against Barrier-Freeman. He volunteered to replace an injured Kevin Mask against Chijimiman, but his peers dismissed this, and he subsequently lost repeatedly to them in "Rock, Paper, Scissors".

In the Demon Seed arc, after Mantaro's loss to Kevin Mask, he joined efforts to lift Mantaro's spirits. He later aided Mantaro's training regimen, transporting Mars to meet General Rib and defending Kevin Mask's performance after a tag-team loss. Retrieving a lantern from Kuan, he journeyed with Seiuchin and Terry the Kid to the Hercules Factory's secret mountain training grounds. There, he taunted Mantaro about Kevin to motivate him. He and Terry the Kid utilized robotic arms to simulate Asuraman's Ultimate Asuraman Buster technique, pushing Mantaro to develop counters and inspiring serious training. This rigorous activity caused Gazelleman to faint, reaching his physical limit.

His techniques include the Antler Fist, where he dons an antler-fitted glove, leaps, and delivers a powerful punch. His more potent technique is the Savannah Heat, noted for splitting opponents into three parts. His height is listed variably as 193cm or 205cm, weight as 136kg, with a Choujin Power level of 1,000,000. Movie appearances include events like Fan Appreciation Day and conflicts involving adversaries such as The Cyborg.
