Description
Meat hails from Planet Kinniku's Churrasco Tribe, sent by his father Mince to aid King Mayumi Kinniku. Dispatched to Earth to retrieve the lost prince Suguru Kinniku (Kinnikuman), he becomes Suguru's steadfast advisor, trainer, and companion. Their bond evolves from frequent clashes over Suguru's cowardice or laziness into profound loyalty and brotherhood, marked by mutual sacrifice.
He wears glasses and bears the hiragana "Niku" (にく) on his forehead and the Kinniku Clan's "KIN Mark" on his chest. Breaking his glasses causes him to cease functioning. Pressing his temple activates the "Niku" characters, emitting a bright light.
During Suguru's early battles against kaiju and in wrestling tournaments like the 20th and 21st Chojin Olympics, Meat provides crucial tactical support. He develops romantic feelings for Mari Nikaido, sparking rivalry with Suguru. In the Seven Devil Chojin arc, Buffaloman dismembers him into seven pieces, forcing Suguru to win matches for his reassembly. Meat later reveals unexpected combat prowess in the Survivor Match for the Kinniku Throne arc, defeating Mixer Emperor with a backdrop before stronger foes like King the 100 Tons overwhelm him.
Decades later, Meat undergoes voluntary cryogenic freezing. Awakening to mentor Suguru's son, Mantaro Kinniku, he serves as Mantaro's advisor and surrogate parental figure—providing guidance, tactical match information, and urging courage, echoing his role with Suguru. He calls Mantaro "Nisei" (Second Generation). In this era, he supports Mantaro and the New Generation Chojin against threats like dMp incursions and during Hercules Factory training.
He maintains ties with his older sisters, Medium Rare and Kalbi Liver. His reunion with Mari Nikaido hints at a continuing romantic connection, though its current status remains unconfirmed.
