Description
Sarkozy, a green-skinned cyborg with a stocky frame and short brown hair, inhabits the Bug Correction Facility—a submerged prison complex beneath a lake, housing those branded non-compliant. Marked by a ruddy, alcohol-flushed complexion and a distinctive protruding left undertooth, he initially navigates the facility as a skittish scavenger, avoiding conflicts with stronger inmates while trading shrewdly procured goods. This talent earns him the moniker "Saru" (monkey) and reluctant respect. Condemned as a systemic "bug," he rationalizes the impossibility of escape, resigned to his confinement.

Beneath his timid exterior lies a cunning innovator: Sarkozy crafts potent moonshine from recycled waste, bartering it freely to cultivate alliances and fleeting popularity. His psychological fragility makes him susceptible to manipulation, particularly by the calculating Turkey, who lures him with promises of heroic validation. This dynamic fractures when encounters with Kaburagi ignite latent defiance, pushing Sarkozy to challenge his own docility.

During a climactic revolt against the facility’s oppressive infrastructure, Sarkozy confronts the consequences of his past compliance with Turkey’s authoritarian schemes. Haunted by complicity, he repurposes his distilling expertise into sabotage—engineering an explosive from fermentation equipment to breach critical systems. This sacrificial act, rupturing both machinery and his subservient identity, enables fellow rebels to advance their cause.

Once deferential to domineering figures like Donatello and Turkey, Sarkozy’s relationships mirror his evolution from anxious follower to reluctant martyr. His final choice—destroying the mechanisms of control he once accepted—cements a fractured legacy of fear, ingenuity, and unexpected rebellion.
