Description
Igneous commands as an officer within the Arachna Royal Military, valued for his strategic intellect and leadership of the Spider Riders. His demeanor typically balances calmness, though he displays a short temper when his authority faces challenge or protocols are ignored. A profound sense of honor and duty drives his commitment to protecting Arachna and its royalty.

He actively mentors Hunter Steele, guiding him through training and missions while rigorously testing his capabilities and synergy with his spider partner, Shadow. This assessment included initiating a duel upon Hunter's arrival in Arachna to evaluate their teamwork potential.

Igneous possesses indigo hair and hazel eyes. In civilian dress, he wears a black long-sleeved shirt under a faded yellow overshirt, a white scarf across his chest, a white belt, black pants, and black boots. His Spider Rider armor features gold plating on the left shoulder, a white cape, a long white glove on his left arm, and white-and-gold boots. His primary weapon is a cavalry lance incorporating a flamethrower at its tip.

His battle spider, Flame, represents one of his closest bonds. Alongside Slate, Igneous co-founded the formidable Arachna Knights duo known as "Claw and Fang," with Igneous designated "Fang." Their partnership emphasizes synchronized combat tactics even without Flame summoned.

Deep loyalty binds Igneous to Prince Lumen and Princess Sparkle. He also harbors unrequited romantic feelings for Queen Luuma of Nuuma, influencing his commitment during the Spider Riders' mission to defend her kingdom against Insectors. An informal fan club of female admirers existed at Arachna castle, though its members later found other partners during his absence.

Igneous experiences phasmophobia, a pronounced fear of ghosts, which surfaces during relevant encounters. Supplementary material places his age within the 17-19 range. His character development manifests through evolving leadership during crises and unwavering dedication to Arachna's defense throughout the series' conflicts.
