Description
Akina Nanamura is a human teenager living near the Tokino bathhouse who serves as a shrine maiden. She maintains a longstanding childhood friendship with the bathhouse owner, Kazuto Tokino, and harbors romantic feelings for him. These feelings go largely unexpressed, leading to regret as she witnesses Kazuto's deepening relationship with the alien princess Valkyrie, culminating in their engagement and marriage plans.
Akina possesses spiritual abilities, enabling her to use demon wards for attacks and create protective barriers. Her powers allowed her to seal the abilities of Hydra, an alien princess from Valhalla, after Hydra crash-landed at her family's shrine. This sealing transformed Hydra into a childlike form, though Hydra retained her adult mind.
