Description
Shusaku Ito is a criminal impersonating an elderly man named Kato to become dormitory manager at the prestigious Shukusei Music Academy for affluent young women. His goal is to blackmail and sexually assault multiple female residents within a strict 36-hour window before his disguise fails. He meticulously observes student and staff routines, planting hidden cameras in rooms to capture compromising material for coercion. Specific targets include homeroom teacher Ayaka Minami; Asami, noted for her physique; Chiaki, characterized by her childish demeanor and appearance; Shiho Minazuki, a shy student; and other dorm residents.

Shusaku employs predatory tactics like lacing food and drinks with controlled doses of aphrodisiacs to avoid lethality, and leverages stolen personal information for manipulation. He spins unreliable narratives portraying his victims as dismissive or abusive toward him to justify his actions, despite evidence of his own negligence as manager. His persistence shows through repeated attempts to overcome obstacles, including failed blackmail efforts.

A key aspect involves breaking the fourth wall, where he directly addresses the player controlling him. This meta-awareness becomes central in confrontations with Eri Takabe, a student resistant to his schemes. Eri demonstrates awareness of the cameras, often staring into them, and evades his attempts to gather evidence. In the "Golden Ending" resolution, Shusaku corners Eri after neutralizing her allies, but the scenario shifts: Eri confesses love for the player (not Shusaku), triggering a metaphysical exchange that displaces Shusaku from reality, erasing his existence and resetting the timeline to spare his victims.

Following this defeat, Shusaku returns in the vengeful "Replay" storyline, resuming his harassment of the dormitory residents with intensified focus, reinstating his role as antagonist. The broader franchise includes related media like "Isaku," "Kisaku," and specials "Liberty" and "Se-X File," where Shusaku's role primarily reiterates his established persona without substantive expansion of his background or motivations.
