Description
Torahamu-kun, known as Stan in English adaptations, is the twin brother of Sandy. Separated young when Noel, harboring a crush on Sandy's owner Hillary, offered to care for one hamster, Stan went to live with Noel while Sandy stayed with Hillary. Sandy dedicated herself to finding her brother, succeeding with the Ham-Ham group's help. Upon reunion, Sandy often grew frustrated with Stan's flirtatious behavior towards female hamsters, frequently using her ribbon to pull him away by his tail. Despite this friction, the siblings share a deep bond rooted in their shared past and a special childhood song called "Twirling Whirling" ("Kuru Kuru" in Japanese).

Stan possesses an outgoing, flirtatious personality, frequently attempting to woo hamsters like Bijou and Pashmina. This habit often annoys male Ham-Hams such as Boss, Howdy, and Dexter. He is visually distinguished from Sandy (who has an orange tail with a red bow and carries a pink ribbon) by his peach-colored tail lacking a bow, his rhythmic maracas, and his skateboard. His playful, sometimes disruptive antics impact group dynamics, yet his loyalty to the Ham-Hams is evident.

His relationship with Sandy is central. While easily annoyed by her interventions in his romantic pursuits, Stan shows genuine love and concern for her, highlighting their complex but affectionate sibling dynamic. Beyond family, he develops a recurring crush on Flora, the nurse hamster owned by veterinarian Dr. Lion, fitting his broader pattern of romantic interests.

Across the primary series and "Tottoko Hamutaro: Hamu Hamu Paradaichu!", Stan's core traits remain consistent. He integrates into the Ham-Ham group after reuniting with Sandy, participating in adventures without major personality changes. In the episode "A Little Love Story!", Sandy and Maxwell's evolving relationship provides an indirect contrast to Stan's unserious approach to romance.
