Kōki Miyata is a Japanese voice actor born on October 9, 1972, in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. He is affiliated with the talent agency 81 Produce. Miyata began his entertainment career in 1993, making his debut by providing narration for a radio commercial. He first started voicing characters in anime in 1996. Earlier in his career, he was known by the stage name Harunori Miyata before adopting the name Kōki Miyata in 1999 after joining his current agency.

Miyata is known for his distinctive vocal quality, which is often described as slender, delicate, and of a higher register. This characteristic has made him a frequent choice for roles of young boys and adolescent characters. His ability to perform a wide variety of character types, moving from gentle to darker personalities, has been noted as a particular strength.

Over the course of his career, Miyata has built an extensive portfolio of roles in anime, video games, and drama CDs. Some of his most prominent and long-running anime roles include Aiichiro Nitori in the Free! franchise, Ken Murata in Kyo kara Maoh!, and Hanatarō Yamada in Bleach. He is also well-recognized for voicing Ukyo in Amnesia, Kōta Tsuchiya in the Baka and Test series, Chōjūrō in Naruto Shippuden and Boruto, and Terufumi Sugimoto in Yowamushi Pedal.

His work also spans a wide range of other popular series. He has voiced characters such as Rhythm in Shugo Chara!, Labrador in 07-Ghost, Nataku in Soul Hunter (also known as Hoshin Engi), Isami Fujiwara in Noein, and Arthur Jones in Emma: A Victorian Romance. In the video game medium, he is well-known for his role as Chihiro Fujisaki in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and as several characters in the long-running Harukanaru Toki no Naka de series, including Shimon Nagareyama and Musashibō Benkei across various games and anime adaptations.

Miyata is recognized for his long-term involvement with specific franchises. He has voiced characters in multiple installments of the Harukanaru Toki no Naka de series for over a decade, as well as the Nintama Rantarou series. His work with the Free! franchise is also extensive, covering multiple television series and films.

In 2007, his contributions to the industry were formally recognized when he received the award for Best Supporting Actor at the first Seiyu Awards. Beyond voice acting, he has also pursued a music career, releasing his first solo album, Shirotori Burikkoju, in 2014.
