Description
Hamutaro is a male golden hamster who lives as a pet with his human owner, a young girl named Laura Haruna. He has orange fur with a distinctive mark on his rear. In his daily life, he is the de facto leader of a group of hamster friends known as the Ham-Hams, with whom he explores the neighborhood and goes on adventures. His personality is defined by an energetic, optimistic, and friendly nature. He is deeply loyal to his friends and owner, and he approaches most situations with a strong sense of selflessness and bravery.
In the events of the third movie, Hamutaro's primary motivation is to rescue his friend Bijou. The story takes place in Aurora Village, a snowy mountain region that is experiencing an unnatural warming, causing the snow to melt. The hamsters who live there believe Bijou is the Snow White Princess, a figure who can perform a sacred ritual to pray for the snow to return.
