Description
Karala Ajiba, younger daughter of Buff Clan Supreme Commander Doba Ajiba, disobeys orders to investigate the planet Solo and becomes stranded during the Buff Clan attack on human colonists. Solo Ship captain Bes Jordan mistakes her for a colonist and rescues her. Her alien identity is soon exposed, sparking crew distrust; only Bes protects her. Her assistant Mayaya dies in the conflict, but Bes ensures Karala remains aboard.

Early on, Buff Clan rescue attempts fail, leading them to brand Karala a traitor for siding with humans. Her sister Harulu develops a fierce hatred, authorizing her execution. Despite hostility from both factions, Karala aids the Solo Ship crew by sharing vital knowledge: the nature of the mysterious Ide energy powering their mecha and ship, and the Buff Clan's Legend of Ide. She gradually earns trust through compassionate acts, notably saving Cosmo Yuki with a life-saving blood transfusion.

Karala develops a romantic relationship with Bes Jordan, resulting in pregnancy. This is revealed when she and Joliver Ira are transported to the Buff Clan flagship Bairal Jin. Her father Doba reacts with fury upon learning of her human child, declaring her an enemy. The Solo Ship crew names the unborn child "Messiah," believing it significant to the Ide's power. In the final conflict, Harulu boards the Solo Ship and shoots Karala point-blank in the face. The Ide briefly sustains the child before absorbing Karala to protect the fetus.

Following the cataclysmic battle, Karala's spirit appears beside Bes and their child, Messiah. Messiah then guides the souls of all the deceased—human and Buff Clan—toward a new universe, symbolizing a transcendent resolution to the cycle of violence.
