Description
Oto Kogane, nineteen, is the acting president of Cat Productions, a talent agency run by one of her parents. Her petite frame, standing 1.41 meters tall and weighing 34 kilograms, coupled with her habit of dressing in little girl cosplay—often including a randoseru backpack—leads many to mistake her for an elementary school student. She possesses long, flowing white hair styled to form shapes like cat ears on top and frequently wears a dark headband that resembles rabbit ears.

A child prodigy, she left Japan to study abroad at a university in Massachusetts for four years, graduating at seventeen. Returning home, she grew dissatisfied with her family's company and its talents, whom she saw as lacking personality and dreams. Having once aspired to be an idol herself, she now uses her executive role to secretly reshape the idol industry from within. To aid this goal, she enlisted Riri Higashi, a twenty-three-year-old producer assigned to serve her.

Her demeanor shifts noticeably, sometimes appearing as a cute child and other times as a stern cynic, often mood-dependent. She customarily addresses others as her "Big Sister" irrespective of their age. Beyond her official responsibilities as a liaison for sponsors and agencies, she has been seen covertly observing rival idol groups. She holds deep admiration for Tone Honmachi, an assistant from Rat Productions, who seems to personify all the qualities she once dreamed of possessing.

She displays a strong aversion to her first name and refuses to write it using its associated Chinese character. The name Oto implies traits like wit, spiciness, or chicness, while her surname, Kogane, combines characters for "small" and "gold" or "money," together meaning a "small sum of money."
