Description
Papillon Noir hails from the Amazon jungles. She joined the Gutsy Galaxy Guard (GGG) organization shortly after Mamoru Amami's departure from Earth. Her background was first established in a Betterman audio drama prior to her anime appearance. She is the daughter of Laurier Noir.

During graduate studies, Papillon conducted extensive experiments with hallucinogenic compounds. These experiments successfully granted her the "Sensing Mind" ability, providing instinctual knowledge of distant events, including those across universes, and limited foresight. Her abilities later enabled a crucial connection with Lamia, the titular entity from Betterman. Sensing the threat of the Eleven Masters of Sol, Lamia directed Papillon to seek Gai Shishioh and the power of the G-Stone.

Within GGG, she developed a close relationship with Kosuke Entouji, frequently brushing his hair. She humorously remarked that neglecting this might result in his hair resembling Geki Hyuuma's style.

Papillon played a significant role in confronting the replicant Mamoru ("Repli-Mamoru") during the conflict over the Q-Parts and the Pas-Q Machine. Tragically, she was killed during this confrontation. Her death coincided with a misfire of the Pas-Q Machine, which created a duplicate of the entire Tri-Solar System, including a replicant version of herself. This replicant Papillon Noir later appeared in the duplicated world. Her death profoundly impacted Kosuke Entouji, who grieved continuously until encountering this replicant form.
