OVA
Description
Princess Minky Momo hails from Fenarinarsa, a celestial realm of fairy tale beings facing separation from Earth as humanity's hopes and dreams fade. Sent by her parents, the king and queen, she arrives on Earth to restore these dreams. Adopted by a childless couple running a pet store and veterinary clinic, she lives with them alongside her three animal companions: Sindbook the dog, Mocha the monkey, and Pipil the bird.

Her primary ability allows her to transform into an adult version of herself, assuming professions perfectly suited to resolve specific crises—like police officer, veterinarian, or airline stewardess. This transformation grants her expertise matching the world's best in each field. Each successful intervention restoring an individual's happiness causes a jewel to appear in Fenarinarsa's crown. Collecting twelve jewels would reunite Fenarinarsa with Earth.

During her mission, she loses her magical powers and dies tragically after being struck by a toy delivery truck. She is reincarnated as the biological daughter of her Earth parents, now fully human without her magical heritage. Later, a pink lizard named Kadzilla aids her against an antagonistic force behind humanity's troubles.

Later media introduces a second protagonist also named Minky Momo, originating from Marinarsa, Fenarinarsa's undersea counterpart. Accompanied by new companions—Cookbook the dog, Lupipi the bird, and Charmo the monkey—she lives with another human couple. Initially limited in magic after expending power to reach Earth, she eventually gains broader transformative abilities. Her story intertwines with the original Momo, revealing their shared purpose. As global conflicts escalate and Marinarsa's rulers plan to depart Earth, this Momo chooses to remain. She relinquishes her magic to become her human parents' true daughter, embodying enduring faith in humanity's latent hopes.

Subsequent OVAs depict an older, non-magical iteration living independently. These stories focus on her reflecting on past adventures and the evolving nature of dreams, showing her adjustment to ordinary life while occasionally encountering remnants of her fantastical history.
