Description
Ironhide in Transformers Energon is an Autobot and a young, enthusiastic rookie soldier who serves as a member of Optimus Prime's team. His most defining characteristic is his boundless desire to prove himself on the battlefield, a motivation that stems from his hero-worship of more experienced Autobots like Optimus Prime and Hot Shot. He joined the team with the specific aspiration of earning a Combination Spark, a power source that would allow him to merge with another Transformer to become a more formidable warrior.
Initially, Ironhide is portrayed as overeager and prone to making social missteps, including saying inappropriate things at the wrong times.
