Description
Todomatsu Matsuno is the youngest of the Matsuno sextuplets. His name derives from "todomatsu," the Japanese term for the Abies sachalinensis fir tree, and his catchphrase "todo no tsumari" ("in the end" or "to summarize") reflects his last-born position. Early portrayals presented him ambiguously among his brothers, while later works explicitly confirm him as the youngest.

As a child, he displayed a flustered, easily agitated personality, frequently becoming upset when drawn into troublesome situations by his brothers or his own actions. He joined his brothers in bullying Chibita but lacked physical strength, often losing one-on-one fights. Childhood hobbies included playing marbles and building model airplanes with Jyushimatsu. He disliked the heat of public baths, which made him dizzy, and avoided unnecessary bathing. He sometimes showed entrepreneurial tendencies, like converting the family kitchen into "Todomatsu's Restaurant" and charging family members for meals, typically saving minimal amounts like 30 to 70 yen. Insecurity surfaced, such as when he repeatedly stressed "I'm Todomatsu!" after Osomatsu forgot his name. Visually identical to his brothers as a child, later media assigned him the color yellow or orange.

During his teenage years, ages 16–18, Todomatsu remained shorter than his brothers and developed a more youthful, feminine appearance featuring flushed cheeks, larger pupils, and a cat-like mouth; his high school uniform appeared oversized due to his smaller stature. Personality-wise, he openly depended on his older brothers, becoming insecure and crying when separated from them. His adult self advised him to cultivate a "popular" persona using his perceived cuteness, shifting his dependence towards a more independent but self-serving path. Anxiety about his future, expressed to Osomatsu before graduation, further shaped his development.

As an adult, Todomatsu adopted a distinct look with larger, shinier pupils, a cat-like mouth, and pink hair accents. His primary attire featured light pink clothing, a brown beanie, and occasionally a pink-tie ensemble with a boater hat. He projected an effeminate, fashion-conscious image, contrasting with his brothers. Superficially charming and popular with women, he achieved short-lived dating successes, often ended by his negative traits or his brothers' interference. His relationships with his brothers grew strained, particularly when his social pursuits conflicted with their "NEET" lifestyle, leading to temporary exclusions.

Beneath his cute exterior, Todomatsu revealed a manipulative, two-faced nature. Instances include pretending not to know his brothers around female acquaintances, declining his mother's custody interview under false pretenses of independence, and feigning affection for Ichimatsu's cat to sell it for money. His nickname "Totty" became commonly used. Despite attempts to distance himself from his brothers for social gain, their familial bonds persisted through conflicts. Childhood dynamics showed frequent pairing and shared misadventures with Karamatsu. As an adult, his self-centered actions created tension, particularly when prioritizing social approval over family loyalty.
