TV-Series
Description
Bull Borgnine serves as a central narrative figure defined by a unique three-way split personality influencing his interactions and capabilities. His primary state exhibits calmness and naivety, showcasing bluish-black hair, black eyes, and a yellow poncho used to carry spare B-Daman parts. This contrasts starkly with a confident form distinguished by grayish-black hair and a wild, berserker state featuring spiky red hair that activates during intense B-DaBattles. The berserker state grants near invincibility but erases all memory of events upon reverting to his default state. Physically, he measures 149 cm tall and weighs 48 kg, with slight height variations across personalities—the wild form being tallest.

Introduced in his calm state at Mie’s café, Bull’s personalities surface when he challenges Yamato in brave form but is interrupted by Gray. His triple nature becomes fully apparent to Yamato and Gray during a mountain encounter, leading to his integration into their group. Bull demonstrates exceptional early skill, scoring perfectly in a Battle Hammer challenge. He and Yamato later lose a tag battle against Wen and Li, and fatigue compounded by Miss Karat’s intervention causes his defeat against Joe in the Phoenix Stage challenge. His competitive path includes offscreen qualification for the IBA Winners Tournament, a victory over Terry McScotty, and a semi-final loss to Yamato while under Ababa’s hypnosis—ending when freed from control.

Bull evolves through interpersonal conflicts and responsibilities. He wrestles with Miss Karat’s persistent assistance, conducting internal "mind meetings" among his personalities before resolving to accept her companionship without full reliance. Later, Mr. Watt—Miss Karat’s father—kidnaps Bull, valuing his brave personality as a potential suitor, though Bull is rescued by the group. A pivotal moment occurs when Bull accidentally breaks Yamato’s Cobalt Saber during repairs. After the Longhorn Brothers destroy Helio Breaker, Gray’s harsh criticism drives Bull to refine his mechanical skills. Under Armada’s guidance, he repairs Cobalt Saber, engineers Chrome Raven, and collaborates with Mr. Rowbee to create King Rekuso and King Bakuso. This cements his role as the group’s primary mechanic, maintaining their B-Daman in subsequent conflicts.

Armada later entrusts Bull with leading Neon City’s defense force, providing the customized Armada Special B-Daman. Bull rallies resistance against Marda B’s Harrier with an impassioned "B-Daman Day" speech. Neon City suffers devastation from a high-density beam, petrifying Bull and the entire army until liberation follows the Neo Shadow Alliance’s defeat.

The *Fire Spirits!* arc highlights Bull’s continued maturation. His personalities stabilize into a predominantly calm yet more confident demeanor, reflected in updated attire: forest-green modified overalls with cargo pants, a brown tool belt for mechanics, and reduced use of his poncho’s hood. He pursues Strike Shots through tournaments but shifts focus to collecting specialized B-Daman accessories, inadvertently provoking gang conflict. Initially reluctant to greet Yamato without a Strike Shot, Bull gains resolve via encouragement from Shin and Aqulas, aiding the latter against vengeful adversaries. His battle record includes direct-hit victories and a near-perfect score of 99 in an Ultimate Strike challenge, showcasing refined abilities.
