Movie
Description
Togenishia, a selfish and ambitious sorceress, is driven to steal the legendary Flower of Seven Colors and become ruler of the Flower Star, intercepting others seeking the bloom. She pursues these seekers across Europe, employing disruptive tactics to hinder them. Her primary magic conjures powerful tempests called Dark Wind or pollen storms, capable of blowing people away or causing physical harm like wrinkling faces. However, excessive use rapidly drains her life energy, temporarily aging her and diminishing the beauty she fiercely guards due to extreme vanity, making her cautious about deploying her powers.
She commands Yabouki, a loyal anthropomorphic raccoon-like servant who obeys hoping for nobility once she secures the throne. Togenishia subjects Yabouki to frequent verbal abuse and physical comedy, making him a target for her frustrations. She skillfully manipulates others by exploiting insecurities to achieve her goals and rarely expresses gratitude, even for unintentional aid. Her schemes consistently fail due to miscalculation or adversary intervention.
In *Konnichiwa Sakura no Kuni*, Togenishia travels to Japan during cherry blossom season. She attempts to strip the trees of petals to undermine the national pride associated with them, aligning with her pattern of targeting natural beauty and symbols of harmony. Her efforts are thwarted once more. She exhibits no significant character development or redemption, remaining dedicated to her selfish ambitions without evolving beyond her core traits of vanity, magical aggression, and comical ineptitude.
