Description
Lolo is one of the two twin bear sisters who serve as the central characters of the anime. She is a yellow-colored bear and, like her sister Lulu, is a popular character originally from the picture book series The Bear's School. Lolo has a gentle and hard-working personality, often described as more reserved and tender than her twin. She is energetic and enthusiastic about taking on new jobs and tasks, but she is also quick to cry when things go wrong or when a rival interferes. Despite these occasional failures and tears, Lolo always gives her best effort and never gives up for long. Her primary motivation is to do her best alongside her sister, and the thing that most reliably cheers her up is the comfort of her grandmother's homemade cookies. Lolo's role in the story is that of a co-protagonist; she and Lulu navigate the everyday adventures of working life, learning through their missteps and successes. Her key relationships include her inseparable bond with her twin sister Lulu, her loving grandmother and parents, and her friend Maggy. Over the course of the series, Lolo develops greater resilience and a deeper understanding of friendship and cooperation, though she remains a soft-hearted bear who learns as much from her tears as from her achievements. She does not possess any supernatural abilities; instead, her notable traits are her perseverance and her willingness to try all kinds of jobs, from cleaning the bath to taking care of babies.
