Barbaforte, known internationally as Barbabravo, belongs to the Barbapapa family. He appears bright red and shares his father Barbapapa's form, though he is notably smaller. Barbaforte thrives on athletics and sports, often lifting dumbbells in his free time. His competitive drive pushes him toward leadership and direct challenges. He also pursues amateur detective work, typically donning a Sherlock Holmes-style hat and using a magnifying glass during investigations, though his skills are enthusiastic rather than highly effective. He is one of seven children born to Barbapapa and Barbamama. His brothers are Barbazoo (yellow), Barbabright (blue), and Barbabeau (black and furry). His sisters are Barbalala (green), Barbalib (orange), and Barbabelle (purple). Within the family, Barbaforte occasionally clashes with his sister Barbalib as both exhibit leadership tendencies. Like all Barbapapas, he can shapeshift into any form while retaining his red color and facial features, signaled by the phrase "Clickety Click—Barba Trick."
