Her arrival method parallels other germ characters such as Baikinman and Dokin-chan.

She possesses a bright blue body with a white face, green eyes, a pink nose, and circular pink cheeks. Notable traits include a red bow atop her antenna, white hands, teal boots, and a small tail. Her design remains consistent in all media.

As Dokin-chan’s younger sister, Kokin-chan engages in frequent conflicts and jealousy-fueled rivalry with her sibling, often centered on their mutual interest in Shokupanman. Merchandise occasionally shows them cooperating, but their dynamic typically involves tension. Kokin-chan exhibits a self-centered, bossy personality, acting on her desires without heeding others' feelings or instructions. She demonstrates willfulness and a consistent lack of empathy.
