Description
Multi is a prototype maid robot designated HMX-12, sent to a school to undergo trials where her performance and integration into the student community are key objectives. The criteria for her success become a point of discussion, focusing on whether she should be measured solely as a highly skilled robot or evaluated on her ability to form meaningful connections and serve as a companion.
After the initial trials, Multi is unexpectedly brought back to the campus, though she is no longer the same android she was before. Her return marks a significant change, as she now exhibits different behaviors and characteristics compared to her original iteration.
The original Multi was designed to be eager to please but often displayed a lack of practical knowledge and could be clueless in certain situations. Despite these limitations, she managed to form strong bonds and was considered a best friend by some students. Her presence was significant enough that her absence was noted when she was removed.
Her later return introduces a shift, as the android brought back does not retain the same personality or operational parameters. This alteration leads to a period of adjustment and reevaluation of her role and identity within the school environment, with the changes in her functionality and behavior central to her ongoing development and interactions.
