Monga is an alien creature from the Tamba star system, specifically from the planet Sasa-yama. Its species is classified as a Monga, and it is known as an absolute being because it can survive in any environment, including the vacuum of space, extreme heat, extreme cold, and it can eat virtually anything. In the film Nijūichiemon: Sora Ike! Hadashi no Princess, Monga accompanies the protagonist Emon and the robot Gonsuke on their adventures. Monga’s most notable ability is teleportation: by shouting its own name, it can instantly transport people or objects up to a distance of three kilometers. This power is used several times in the movie to help the group overcome obstacles, such as when it teleports Emon and the others to Princess Fana’s spaceship.
