Description
Uesugi "Julian" Kenshin is a Borzoi dog, the modern reincarnation of the Sengoku-period warlord Uesugi Kenshin. He retains memories and core personality traits from that past life, including a serious and prideful demeanor regarding his legacy as the "Dragon of Echigo" and "God of War." He disdains modern media portrayals that misrepresent his historical achievements or those of his contemporaries. He speaks with the verbal tic "-zoi" at the end of sentences.

His background as a revered military strategist and devout follower of the Buddhist war god Bishamonten shapes his modern behavior. He analytically recalls details of past victories and losses. He maintains a rivalry with Takeda "Lucky" Shingen, reincarnated as a Pomeranian; their interactions often involve stare-downs near the Kawanakajima household, echoing their historical confrontations at Kawanakajima. Despite this rivalry, a mutual respect persists, rooted in their storied past conflicts.

He harbors lingering regrets from his human life, particularly his sexual abstinence due to a temple upbringing. This regret manifests through complaints about his lack of romantic experience in his current life. His dignified bearing sometimes clashes with the more lighthearted attitudes of other reincarnated warlords, such as Sanada "Marutarō" Yukimura, whose carefree demeanor irritates him.

He interacts with other historical figures reincarnated as animals, including Oda "Cinnamon" Nobunaga (a Shiba Inu) and Date "Boo" Masamune (a French Bulldog). His relationship with Nobunaga is marked by aggression when provoked, especially regarding historical grievances like Nobunaga's conflicts with Hongan-ji monks. His owner remains unaware of his true identity as a reincarnated warlord.
