Abe no Seimei features prominently in the anime "Onmyō Kaiten Re:verse" as the narrative's most formidable onmyōji. He commands and mentors fellow onmyōji Kazura and Shino within the technologically advanced yet mystical realm of Denji Heian-kyō. Following protagonist Takeru Narihira's displacement into this world and his witness of Tsukimiya's death, Seimei trains Takeru in onmyō-jutsu.
