OVA
Description
Mocha, an elf-like warrior distinguished by her long ears, serves as the primary melee combatant in her adventuring trio, wielding exceptional physical strength counterbalanced by remarkably low intelligence. She wears minimal, revealing armor yet maintains an innocent, pure, and naive personality devoid of sexualized portrayal.

Her background centers on mentorship under Salvador, a legendary gladiator and adventurer who acted as her father figure. Operating within a mercenary guild initially labeled "dark," she consistently prioritizes compassion and world preservation over profit. Her party includes Blueman, a Nekomatango thief handling lock-picking and reconnaissance, and Kiriman, an Inumoarukeba mage communicating solely via written signs. Mocha wields Esprit (Espre), a sentient astral spirit sword from the Magic Academy disguised as a mundane longsword; it frequently abandons her autonomously during combat, leaving her abruptly disarmed.

Though driven by treasure hunting and contracts, Mocha’s altruism overrides mercenary motives. She ensured a priestess’s escape from a collapsing Temple of Fire, supported by Kiriman using extensive magic to share outside-world knowledge. Contracted to steal the sentient Dragon’s Head artifact for Gazelle, she redirected it upon its promise of greater reward, ultimately battling Gazelle to prevent global catastrophe—forfeiting payment.

Energetically spontaneous and sarcastic toward foes like sky pirate Ginger, she exhibits fierce loyalty to companions. Combat relies purely on physical prowess and swordsmanship, aligning with her barbarian archetype. Throughout the OVA, her characterization remains stable, emphasizing comedy through reactions to Kiriman’s signs and Esprit’s disappearances, without backstory expansion.
