Ryuuma is a core warrior of the Fuuma ninja clan during its conflict with the rival Yasha clan. After the Sacred Sword War concludes, Ryuuma and Kojiro vanish, leaving the clan vulnerable. In their absence, a faction named the Shinsei Fuuma Clan launches a violent rebellion against the traditional leadership. Returning to Earth, Ryuuma and Kojiro discover their clan embroiled in brutal internal warfare.

Ryuuma joins the fight to quell the rebellion, battling alongside surviving loyalists Shoryu, Kirikaze, and Ryuho. He confronts former comrades now fighting for the Shinsei Fuuma, including powerful warriors Muma and Shimon, the latter wielding dangerous mind-control abilities. The rebellion inflicts heavy casualties on the Fuuma; the death of Kirikaze strikes Ryuuma deeply.

Ryuuma's actions during the civil war help restore order within the clan, though at a substantial cost in lives. This conflict represents a critical struggle for the clan's survival and future direction.
