Description
Shiragiku Ōmura, a high school student with long black hair and brown eyes, carries her family’s kendo legacy as a national champion—a title earned through relentless training to fulfill their stipulation: only by mastering kendo could she pursue baseball. Her shift to the diamond began after observing the school team and recruiting Nozomi Takamura to explore the club together.

Though new to baseball, her raw talent flashed during her first practice, launching a home run off a pitching machine. Yet this initial triumph gave way to inconsistency as she grappled with timing and mechanics, her kendo-honed swing clashing with baseball’s demands. Witnessing Yomi Takeda’s pitching prowess galvanized her resolve, spurring collaboration to revive the school’s dormant baseball club and chase national glory.

Her name, "Shiragiku," weaves together "white" and "chrysanthemum"—symbols of loyalty and honesty—while her surname, Ōmura ("big village"), remains a neutral marker. Her journey balances inherited discipline with newfound passion, bridging the solitary rigor of martial arts to the collective drive of team sports, all underscored by unyielding perseverance.
