Rina Honnizumi

Rina Honnizumi is a Japanese voice actress affiliated with the agency 81 Produce. She was born on February 4, 1993, in Fukushima Prefecture. Her interest in becoming a voice actor began during her high school years. To pursue this goal, she enrolled in the Tokyo Animation College, a specialized vocational school, from which she graduated in March 2013. Her professional debut followed in 2014 with a minor role in the anime series Kill la Kill.
Honnizumi's career gained significant recognition with her casting as one of the main characters in the 2018 long-running magical girl franchise, Hugtto! PreCure. She voiced the role of Saaya Yakushiji, who transforms into the heroic Cure Ange. For this performance, she was honored with the Best New Actress Award at the 13th Seiyu Awards in 2019, an accolade she shared with several other rising stars in the industry.
Following this breakthrough, Honnizumi has built a diverse portfolio of roles across anime, games, and multimedia projects. Among her notable anime roles are Hina in the fantasy series Plunderer, Sicily von Claude in the isekai anime The Wise Man's Grandchild, and Rei Aragaki in the sports anime The Gymnastics Samurai. She also voiced Toko Aoki, the diligent club president, in the pottery-themed slice-of-life series Let's Make a Mug Too. Her role as the gentle and caring Shizuku Hinomori in the popular multimedia franchise Colorful Stage! Her voice work also encompasses leading and supporting roles in various streaming series and OVAs. She portrayed Tsuzura Hanatemari, the deuteragonist in the prequel series Kakegurui Twin. In the Beyblade Burst franchise, she lent her voice to Hanna Suiryuu in the Beyblade Burst QuadDrive series. She is also part of the cast for the multimedia Lapis Re:LiGHTs project, voicing the character Nadeshiko.
